That drive led me through physical printing to graphic design to motion graphics and 3D modeling, until I found my home in screen and stage. I design props, build sets, make creatures, and have even competed on a special effects makeup series. It's creative work, and I love the atmosphere, but something was still missing, and I realized I didn't just want a creative job... I wanted a voice.
Exploring that desire to speak through my work led me to understand that what I truly wanted to create was something I had already been doing for myself, my co-workers, and my friends all along: refined genre tributes that could walk among everyday objects while carrying hidden depths. 'Day walkers,' if you will, pieces with dark souls that don't need to hide in the shadows of Halloween bins or convention halls.
